No. A certificate summarizes a policy; we read certificates but we don't verify coverage with the carrier. What we do is make sure you always know what your certificates say and when they expire. Talk to your insurance professional about coverage decisions.

Every new account starts with a 14-day Starter preview: 15 certificates and a second seat. No credit card required. When the 14 days end, you land on the free plan and keep everything. Nothing is charged, nothing is deleted, nothing needs cancelling.

Cancel anytime in account settings. Cancellation stops the next renewal and takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for. Your account drops to the Free plan; it is not closed, and your data is not deleted unless you ask us to delete it.

COI Watchdog is operated by Brito Consulting Services LLC, Florida, under the Brito Labs studio.

On paid plans, when you turn it on, COI Watchdog emails a subcontractor's insurance agent to request a renewed certificate, under your business name. You authorize us to send renewal requests to the agents you choose, on your behalf. You are responsible for the recipients you add.

Free covers 5 certificates and 1 seat. Starter covers 15 certificates and 2 seats. Growth covers 50 certificates and 5 seats. Pro covers 300 certificates and 10 seats.

Only upload certificates you have the right to share. Automated reading can make mistakes: spot-check important dates and correct any value that looks wrong before you rely on it.

Nothing is deleted. Your account moves to the Free plan automatically and nothing is charged. Certificates 6 through 15 become read-only — you can still view and download them — and a second seat is paused 48 hours after the preview ends unless you upgrade first.
